Late last night the details of this new national security law in Hong Kong were unveiled; rules that restrict protests and freedoms and threaten hefty jail sentences for dissent. Nonetheless, people have been out protesting today, a day that makes the 23rd anniversary of the hand.over of Hong Kong from China to Britain. Special rights of autonomy should have been guaranteed for 50 years under that hand.over agreement. Our fm4 correspondent Richard Kimber has been on the streets of Hong Kong. Chris Cummins asked him what he could see and hear as the protesters were confronted by security forces?
