FM4 Interview with Australian Rancher Rob Armstrong

Australia has been suffering some of the worst bushfires in a decade. In the state of Victoria, drought, high temperatures and fierce winds have made a perfect storm of conditions for the spread of fires that are being compared to the notorious „Black Saturday“ in 2009 in which over 180 people died.

Last week, a „red alert“ was issued in some areas, warning people to prepare for evacuation.

One of them was rancher, Rob Armstrong. He told Kate Farmer what happened.
